Coronavirus - Cancellation policy for customers with a pre-paid reservation
To provide our customers with flexibility for their travel plans and confidence to place future reservations without penalty during this unprecedented COVID-19 health situation, we have extended our existing no-fee cancellation policy to include customers with pre-paid rentals booked directly through us. Cancellation fees are being waived for any pre-paid rentals booked directly with us with for rentals due to start before April 1, 2021.
Customers who have booked a rental through a third-party are encouraged to contact that party directly.
Discount
5% discount applies to base rate only. Taxes, fees, surcharges, government-imposed surcharges, and optional items (CDW, GPS, additional drivers, etc.) are not included in this discount. Pay now discount may not be combined with any other discounts. Refunds
Standard Prepay Policy
Reservations cancelled more than 24 hours before the pick-up time will incur a $50 cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled less than 24 hours before the pick-up time, or reservations that are not picked up at all, will be assessed a $100 cancellation/no show fee. Optional insurance or CDW coverage that was selected at the time of the reservation can be cancelled at the counter with no fee. Reservation Modifications
Pay now reservations cannot be modified, changes, or cancelled online. For assistance with a pre-paid reservation, please call us at 1-800-GOALAMO. Changes to the pick-up and /or drop-off location will require a cancellation of the original reservation, and the creation of a new reservation at the current rates available at the time. Availability of pay now discount is limited, is subject to change without notice, may be subject to blackout dates, and is void where prohibited by law. Renter must meet standard age, driver, and credit requirements. 24-hour advance reservation is required.
